Uberti Colt 3rd Model Dragoon with detachable shoulder stock

This is my Uberti Colt 3rd Model Dragoon reproduction cap and ball revolver, shoulder stock version. A refinement of the Whitneyville Walker (of "Outlaw Josey Wales" movie fame), this hefty hand cannon was bought new by me from Dixie Gun Works in the mid 80's along with a very fine walnut and brass detatchable shoulder stock that permits this monster handgun to be fired as a carbine. The shoulder stock even has a ring for a cavalry sling so that the pistol can be worn on the chest as a carbine while mounted. The gun shoots very well and only has some minor rust pitting on the top of the barrel and one small rust spot inside the barrel. It is a beautiful handgun/carbine and a lot of fun to shoot. Sure to get lots of attention at the range and at reenactments (last time I took it to the range I hardly got to shoot it because of all the folks gathering around and asking if they could fire off a round or two :-) New these go for $395 for the revolver and $185 for the stock (if you can even find a stock and revolver factory cut to accept it).
