It was shipped from the plant in Boston, Ma. on December 29, 1941 and its original buyer was the United States Navy Department. It has a 5.5 inch diameter glass face, a 7.5 inch diameter back mounting plate, and is 2.5 inches deep.. It comes in its General Electric phenolic resin case which has been painted red Also included is a bat wing winding key. It weighs just under 3.5 pounds and keeps accurate time.
