U.S. M16 MAG BAGS WITH "CHIEU HOI PROGRAM"

U.S. M16 rifle magazine bags with Chieu Hoi Program surrender message. Genuine issue, dated APRIL 1970. Unused Vietnam War surplus. Waterproof vinyl bags were to protect one magazine of twenty M16 cartridges from the elements. Measure 4.5" X 7.5". They were meant to be left on the battlefield after being used for the enemy to find. Vietnamese message reads: "Become a part of the Open Arms Program. Join with the Republic of Vietnam forces (and you can) return to your family and live in a democratic country".
