Thompson Center New Englander .50 cal./12 ga. Combo

Muzzleloading flexibility: rifle or shotgun - BOTH barrels included! Thompson Center is known for quality firearms, and at one time was the finest replica-style manufacturer of sidelock blackpowder rifles and guns around, IMHO - all USA-made! I bought this combo online a number of years ago, and the shape it's in now is the exact shape it was then, as I haven't fired either barrel ever. I cleaned it, lubed it up with T/C Bore Butter and placed it in my gun cabinet. The rifling is great in the rifle barrel; the shotgun barrel is absolutely clean (not sure it was ever used). The rifle was obviously taken afield as the stock shows a couple of "character marks" (see photos), but truly nothing bad. The wood used has an almost tiger-maple look to it. I have had many T/C rifles in my life and have never found a "bad" or lacking one. American craftsman quality with limited quantities available since T/C "went inline," if you enjoy this firearm half as much as I have had owning it, it will be a great time for you!
