Stock and Corncob Forend Remington 870 Walnut VG 1950s-60s

Here is a very attractive buttstock and forend set for the traditional Remington 870 Wingmaster shotguns, 12 gauge only. The styling is 1950s, serrated corncob type small forend and plain glossy finish, non-engraved 13 1/4 inch length buttstock. Both are original walnut with very strong glossy finish, and we believe that the finish is original. From our knowledge of the collection these came from, these probably came off a 1960s 870 Police shotgun. Surface abrasions are only moderate for the buttstock, minimal for the forend. We rate them both as strong Very Good, and the forend is close to Excellent on our view. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Buttplate is original black composite with moderate whitening to the screw heads, but no stress. There are no cracks anywhere on either of these pieces, and the stock bolt and washer are included inside the buttstock.
