Steyr (marked Pedersen-Mannlicher) Model 72 .270 Winchester. Hammer-forged 24-inch barrel with great bore, half stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap, wrap-around checkering and cheek piece. Fixed rotary magazine. Weight is 6.8 pounds and LOP is 13.4 inches. Metal finish is about 95%, with some areas showing a slight thinning and freckling, mostly just ahead of the forend tip and likely from a rack (barrel possibly touched up or reblued). Wood is about 98% with a few small field impressions. Safety wiggles lose when bolt handle worked and should be tightened by a professional gunsmith. Price firm. Photo package by request.
