Seller Description
Extremely nice Springfield M1 Garand. Serial number puts the receiver at 1945. The barrel is from 1951 (also Springfield). The finish is green parker and is in nice condition. The wood is walnut with all three pieces matching in finish and very nice wood to metal fit. There are no cartouches or visible markings on the stock. No cracks, gouges, or big dings.
I have the DCM box and paperwork from the person I purchased it from 20 years ago. I believe he got it from the DCM in 1992.
This rifle shoots lights out with ball ammo and holds the black at 600 yards. I have shot it across the course a time or two and in many 200 yard Garand matches.
The rifle comes with 380 rounds of 1956 WCC 30-06 AN-M2 ammo in the original can (I fired one box of it).
Price is FIRM. No trades, looking to thin the herd.
Cash or postal money order only.
