Danish Lend-Lease US M1 Rifle, Danish barrel

At the close of WWII, following the extrication of the Third Reich from Denmark in 1945, the Royal Danish government was loaned US M1 Rifles. During their use, the Danes made replacement barrels and bought some parts from Italy, where US M1 Rifles were also used, following WWII. This historic US M1 Rifle was made at Springfield Armory in Mass. in 1944. The barrel is Royal Danish made and so marked with the Dane Crown. The butt stock is also Danish made. The rifle turned in fine groups when I range tested it. More photos and details upon request. A Royal Danish bayonet and scabbard is available for an additional $125, with purchase of the rifle.
