Proper and original C marked 1879 rear sight . Walnut stocks are in very good condition with no breaks or repairs . Trap butt to facilitate cleaning rod and accountraments . Action and lock mechanics are sound and functioning properly . This is a very nice and original Trapdoor carbine . Barrel finish is very thin with a balance of patina and bright steel .
