This M1 Rifle was "THERE!"

I carried the US M1 Rifle with 2nd Armored Division, so I know what they are supposed to look like. This one could have made it into WWII, but had a better chance of making it into the Korean War. It has the release paper from the US Arsenal. All WWII type walnut wood in the stocks. Number 19 rack number in the butt stock, which was the usual way that Infantry Units marked their rifles, to be found fast, while standing in the Arm's Room Racks. Both the muzzle and throat gauge #1, indicating near perfect condition of the bore. The entire rifle appears to be Springfield. Will include enbloc clip and Instruction Manual.
