Smith & Wesson Number 1 2nd Issue .22 Short. Made circa 1865, serial number 99398 sports a 3.2-inch octagon barrel and has a 7-shot cylinder. CONDITION: The bore is generally rough, with some pitting. Cylinder indexes with hesitation (at times), due to a loose spring. This condition does not repeat when pressure is applied to the latch. Light pitting shows on the barrel face and cylinder. Blue and nickel finishes are thin, with scattered nicks and scratches. Grips are very good and trigger operates properly.
