Seller Description
This one, #8286, was made in 1862 and could have seen active duty in the Civil War. It has a very streamlined shape and the hammer spur has been slightly shortened - probably for quicker access.
The rosewood grips are fine. There is still some of the original Nickel plated finish; about 40 to 50%, mostly on the frame and a little on the barrel They are fun to shoot and pleasing to look at, thinking about how they were used for backup by soldiers and officers, mostly Union.
{Note: I have some .32 rimfire longs and shorts for sale, also}.
