Here are attractive, ergonomic, and traditional Pachmayr Grips to fit any Smith & Wesson full size model 39 or 39-2 pistol. They will also fit all variants of the model 439, 539, and 639, regardless of whether the pistol has single safety lever or ambidextrous safety. They will not work for a model 59, or a model 659. They Will Not work on the third generation 39 series pistols; Will Not Work on a 3904 or 3906. They will only fit models 39, 39-1, 39-2, 439, 539, and 639. Manufacturer, of course, is Pachmayr Gun Works of Los Angeles. Construction is thin, pliable black synthetic rubber with checkering and Pachmayr Lion Logos. Grip frame back strap cover is included; that’s why Pachmayr calls these grips Signature series. Since Pachmayr introduced the logo in the mid 1980s, and since Second Generation 439, 539, and 639 pistols were in production until 1988, these are period correct for those pistols. They are not easy for us to come by. Pachmayr only makes production runs of these every year or two.
