Smith & Wesson S&W 1940 light rifle 9mm

1940 Smith and Wesson light rifle Mk I in 9 mm Luger. There are less then 200 of this guns around . Two digits ser. number . Gun has British acceptance proof marks( it was actually proofed with the British "hot" 9mm load !) . No import marks. Non NFA item , classified as C&R , fires from an open bolt. Gun comes with the sling assy ,two mags ( one is still in the box ) , additional custom made and hand fitted wood stock . Beautiful bluing usually seen on commercial guns , mint bore.
