Sharps Model 1863 Percussion Saddle Ring Civil War Carbine Mfg’d 1859-1866 52 cal Bore VG plus, Mech VG plus, Wood VG with cartouche, Has a original 22” barrel with original sights and VG plus sharps address marking and New Model 1863 marking. The receiver has the serial#C15344 Likely issued to Co B 10th Ill Volunteer Cavalry. Has saddle ring and bar. Lockplate has the Sharps and Lawrence patent date markings plus pellet priming system. The left side of the receiver has the C Sharps Patent Sept 12th, 1848 markings. Metal overall has a dark aged patina finish with some fine pitting
