From a local West Tennessee estate comes this very well preserved Schrade Uncle Henry + pattern number LB-7 manufactured in Ellenville New York, nowhere near Beijing. Overall length closed is 5 inches; and the single clip blade measures its full original 4 inches from heel to point. Case or scabbard is factory issue, Genuine Leather and so marked. Type is folding lo ck bl ade. Serial number is AY89200 range; and we estimate that this LB7 was manufactured in the late 1980s. Surface detractions are minimal, only toning to the brass bolsters and linings, and faint amounts of contact buffing on the blade. We do not believe this Schrade was ever sharpened more than twice, and its owner knew what he was doing then. It has no stone marks on the blade sides, and the blade is full original width throughout. All this knife’s descendants made since 1998 have the word China on their tangs. This one does not.
