This is a Savage 99M rifle chambered in .308 winchester. The M designation comes from the Montecarlo stock. This rifle comes with a Leupold Vari-X IIc 6-18x40 scope and Leupold scope base and rings. The basket weave checkering on the stock is in very good shape and the wood overall is in good condition with two repaired cracks, one on the foreened and one at the joint of stock and receiver. The metal finish is graying with minor surface rust while the barrel has shiny and sharp rifling down the length of it.
