Savage Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle 303 cal Bore VG plus strong rifling. Mech Exc works well, Wood VG plus has a worn area on the rear of the right side of the forarm and the right side of the stock near the receiver. Has a Rare 26” part oct part Round barrel with excellent Savage markings, original rear sight , front sight is a rocky mountain style sight but marked marbles and has the marlin proof marking. Serial#7687 matching . Made in 1895 to 1899 total production 5000. Part round part oct barrel are rare. Has the cocking indicator on top of the bolt. Metal on the barrel has 50% original fading blue finish with the receiver having an aged blue brown patina finish with no pitting.
