Barrel changing tool included with each rifle. •ACTION - The action is a bolt action design with two locking lugs, bolt lift angle 50°, bolt throw 40 mm (1.60 in) and firing pin travel 5 mm (0.20 in). Ejection is carried out with special spring. •MAGAZINE - 5-round clip magazine for calibers 22 LR and 17 Mach 2 or calibers 22 WMR and 17 HMR. On the bottoms of the magazines are color codes to indicate the applicable calibers. 10-round clip magazine (9-round for cal. 22 WMR and 17 HMR) is also available. •TRIGGER - Is the same single-stage trigger as on other Sako-rifles. Adjustable from 1 to 2 kg (2 - 4 lbs). Also available with single set trigger mechanism as option. Sliding safety catch, located rear from the bolt handle, locks the trigger and the bolt. •STOCK - The walnut stock with wide fore-end is oilfinished. Straight stock features ambidextrous palm swell and recoil pad system where length of the pull can be legthened by spacers. •BARRELS - The heavy, free-floating barrels are cold hammer-forced. Barrels are provided with color code rings that indicate caliber of the barrel. Barrels available also with thread 1/2”-20 UNF at the muzzle for silencer mounting. •SIGHTS - SAKO QUAD is delivered without open sights. 11mm integral dovetail on the receiver for scope mounting.
