This tactical light is designed to mount directly to the barrel of a Colt CAR 15/16, Commando 9mm & M4 Carbines with 12-16 inch barrels. This system is intended to allow adding the tactical advantage of a Surefire light to weapons that have not been outfitted with any rail-type systems. It includes all the necessary hardware for mounting to a picatinny/weaver rail or barrel.
