Smith & Wesson Model 15

Smith and Wesson Model 15-4 Six Round 38 Special In Beautiful Bright Nickle Finish Only $400 for this classic gun sought after by collectors. The year of manufacture was sometime between 1977 and 1982. When I acquired the gun it had old Pachmayr grips mounted on it and in the accompanying original box was the “original” S&W grips which appear never to have been used. The previous owner says he purchased the gun from the original owner and was told these are the original grips. I am not an expert on these things so I cannot be certain. I have put the “original” grips on the gun for the photos but I have never used them in firing the gun so they are in mint condition. I purchased the gun in 2015 and between then and 2018 I fired 820 rounds through it. It was a joy to shoot and very accurate. At 8 yards with a 1 inch 10 point bullseye I scored a high of 97 and at 5 yards, 99. Since 2018 the gun has been stored in a low humidity gun safe and now I am putting this fine piece up for adoption by someone who would appreciate it.
