From service with the Federal Government come these serviceable, collectable, All German Sig factory magazines for the P228 and P229 pistols. From their 091494 Restricted front stamps, they were manufactured in the mid to late 1990s. Manufacturer was Sig Sauer gmbh of Eckernförde, Germany. Construction is folded one piece steel body with dimpled lower laterals, with welded dovetail back side closure, and with three point perforation for round count. Spring, inner plate and floorplate are all steel, with black polymer cartridge follower, and outer floor plate. Each magazine holds 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Finish is black phosphate. Surface wear is moderate, principally insertion and ejection streaking, some due to holstering. We rate these magazines as Very Good condition, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
