Savage Arms Fox Model B 16 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun Chambered for 2 3/4" long shotgun shells Manufactured in Chicopee Falls, MA before 1968 serial number requirement Manufacture address shows it was made some time before 1961 as factory was moved to Westfield, MA in 1961 Barrels and receiver are stamped 41JO 26" Long blued steel double barrels with usual amount of pitting/ blemishes for this time period 42" In overall length Wooden stock and forearm have checkering for grip and still show very nice grain There is a black colored screw in cap on bottom of stock grip Wooden stock is in fair condition showing normal usage from time period Wooden forearm shows only some blemishes and seems a little darker from hand usage Blued receiver has a fox logo engraving on each side and duck engravings on bottom Receiver has some pitting mostly on bottom of receiver Blued steel trigger guard Silver beaded rear sight halfway up barrels and silver beaded front sight at end Tang style safety Bore in decent condition for it's age as well as receiver Lock up is still tight No box/ manual
