Remington XP-100 Heavy Varmint .223 Rifle

One of a kind! This is a custom rifle based on a Remington XP-100 single shot action. The XP dogleg bolt handle has been replaced with a Remington Model 700 bolt handle. It has a 26 inch Max Heavy Varmint contour 1:8 twist Hart barrel installed. The action is glass bedded in Shehane Tracker ST-1000 laminated wood stock with 3 inch wide forend. Remington ADL trigger guard. No swivel studs. Trigger is a Jewell HVR with bottom safety and special longer shoe for XP actions, set to less than 8 oz trigger pull. The scope mount is included. Gunsmith: Hart Rifle barrels. The rifle weighs about 12 lbs. Shoots Hornady 75 grain A-max bullets to an amazing degree of accuracy and smokes prairie dogs at extreme range for a .223.
