Remington 870 Police Trade-In

Buy a piece of HISTORY. This is a police shotgun from the mid-1970's when they made them right. It's a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12-gauge pump shotgun. This shotgun has the original wood stocks, a 20" barrel with a 2-3/4" chamber and bead front sight. Imagine the situations this shotgun has been in and it's still in good shape, fully functional. I'm certified as a factory trained Remington 870 armorer and I fully disassembled / inspected / cleaned this shotgun. It only needed a new magazine spring which I replaced. This gun runs smooth & crisp and as with most police weapons, was properly maintained. After 35+ years in police service, this gun has its share of dings & scratches. The bluing is starting to go and there are tiny cracks in the stock finish, but the gun is sound and will fire reliably. Get your own piece of history. The Wingmaster was the primer pump shotgun of its day. Unlike todays "Express" model with its plastic trigger group, bead blasted blue job, pressed-in checkering and "metal injection molded (MIM)" parts, the Wingmaster has an aluminum trigger group, commercial polished blue finish, polished bore, chrome plated bolt, milled extractor and "ball detent" locking cap. The Wingmaster is Remington's top-of-the-line commercial pump gun. It was well-built in the 70's and it is well-built now. I think you will happy with this shotgun.
