Remington 1863 Zouave Rifle Civil War Period

CIVIL WAR PERIOD US REMINGTON "ZOUAVE" RIFLE, dated 1863 In overall excellent condition. The round rifled .58 caliber blued barrel is 33" long and has folding adjustable rear sight and an iron block and blade fore-sight. The right side of the muzzle has its original bayonet lug and the left side of the breech is marked with a "STEEL" marking. The 1863 dated lock has Spread Eagle and "US", "Remington’s, Ilion, NY" marking under the bolster. The bore is in like new condition. Excellent example. $2,495 We offer 30, 60, and 90 day layaway.
