Remingtom Rolling Block

PRICE REDUCED!!! This is a Remington Rolling Block in 7x57 Mauser. The receiver reads: Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY. USA. Patent date is Oct. 22 1901.I can not find a serial gun has a 23 1/2" barrel that looks to be original. The bore is in good condition with lots of rifling. The gun has refinished wood and metal. The stock configuration, with metal butt plate, is that of a carbine, but I know the carbines were 20". It has a upper wood hand guard that has been altered for the rear ladder sight. The rifle is nice, but I wish I had more info for you. More pictures available by email. Information welcome. Offers considered.
