Ranger (Stevens) 12 Gauge Double Barrel

Offering a 12 gauge Ranger double gun. As most know, the Ranger was a brand name of Sears and Roebuck. This gun appears to be built on the Stevens 311 platform. It has 32 inch barrels choked IM and F according to my drop in gauge. Ivory front sight and a broken off ivory mid bead. Stock dimensions are about 14 1/4 x 1 3/4 x 3 2/4. Original butt plate. The gun is in very good mechanical condition but is a little sad cosmetically. It came from an estate and is very dirty. Fortunately, the screws show no sign of ever being turned. The hand checkered wood shows only remnants of the original finish BUT all the wood is sound, no cracks, oil soak, etc. The metal is brown with a small rust area at the end of the left barrel. THe bores are bright and shinny, no pits. The gun is tight and on face, ribs are tight. This gun will make an excellent water fowl gun as is but deserves a little TLC. A low cost hunting friend that can stand a little bad weather!
