Ranger (Marlin) Model 34 single shot rifle - .22 S-L-LR - 1930's Mfg

We are offering for sale a RANGER Model 34 single shot rifle chambered in .22 S – L – LR caliber. This BOLT ACTION rifle is scarce in that there were not a ton of them manufactured. Research shows that this particular model was possibly manufactured by Marlin in the 1930’s or 40’s. 24” barrel is good with the original bluing having given way to a nice, brown patina. The bore is bright and clean with very good rifling. The action of this rifle shows a similar brown patina. Bolt action works flawlessly. Walnut stock is good with wear, showing previous owner’s initials “C.S” on the left side of the shoulder stock.
