We are offering for sale a Remington Model 1863 ZOUAVE musket copy manufactured by Antonio Zoli in Italy. This black powder rifle is chambered in the original .58 Caliber. Gun remains in excellent overall condition. 33” barrel is excellent with light scattered wear; Bore is clean with strong rifling. The breach shows a light freckle. Lockplate and hammer are in excellent condition with strong case colors. Gun functions flawlessly with a strong snap of the hammer. The original is handsome with light handling wear. Brass hardware is beautiful with aged patina; Bottom trigger guard has previous owner numbers lightly “engraved”. Patchbox is full of accessories.
