REMINGTON 700 BDL 222 Remington

Here is a beautiful Rem model 700 BDL in 222. This caliber is no longer chambered by Remington so they are hard to find. Once upon a time it was the most accurate cartridge available and is still at the top of the list. Low recoil and low report. I'm told the Hornady 40 gr ballistic tip is dynamite in these rifles. "Almost" like new. This rifle with a 24 inch barrel "appears" un fired and shows no signs of ever having had a scope mounted on it. The bluing is perfect except a wear mark at the muzzle, the stock if you look hard has a few minor dings from being moved around. The bluing is the high polished type Rem used a few years ago before going to the current black finish. Here's a fun rifle that's accurate and cheap to shoot low recoil for a lady or a young man. Legal for deer in most states. The last BDL with wood that I saw was in a Walmart for 875.00 about a year ago, therefore I don't think the price is out of line for a classic rifle in a classic caliber with a beautiful Walnut stock.
