This is a Vietnam era MK-79 signal flare launcher set. It includes the MK-31 hand held launcher with 7 MK-80 flares in holder. The launcher has the original shot cord still taped to the handle. The date code is from 1968. Launcher is marked: U.S. NAVY BUWEPS.
