Parker Safety Hammerless 32 revolver by Maltby Henry Co

"PARKER SAFETY HAMMERLESS" double action 32 caliber revolver by Maltby Henry Co. Serial number 32229. Unusual design that looks like a S&W "lemon squeezer" at first glance, but is not a break-open frame design. Metal parts are about an even mix of bright original nickel finish and medium patina surfaces. Hard rubber grips are fine, free of cracks and chips. Frame and side plate have a very intricately machined appearance that must have been timely to produce and was likely a poor-performing competitor to the automatic extracting S&W revolvers of the period, but featured a sliding button safety that S&W did not have. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
