Ottoman Flintlock Pistol

Ottoman flintlock pistol - much better quality than most of these. 18" overall, approx. .66 cal (though I wouldn't fire it). Cock holds well at full and half-cock. Lock has a faded makers mark, barrel a makers mark and brass (gold?) punzon. Stock forend not pretty - end split, been repaired (one could improve). Note ramrods on these are for show only (they used a separate ramrod). Front end of fake ramrod is clearly a replacement. Ramrod pipes are good - it would be easy to remove middle section of fake ramrod and put in a longer (insertable) ramrod. All brass fittings. Grip has a pewter(?) inlay and remains of a paste jewel, all surrounded by fine wire inlay and extravagant carving. A showy wall hanger, or example of a working flint - hammer produces a nice spark!
