Seller Description
Original M1881 Springfield "forager" trapdoor shotgun. Serial number 910. 26" barrel. Barrel and lock are refinished with nice blue and color casehardening. Stock is lightly sanded, correct type that was cut down and finished from a civil war musket stock, has some handling bruises visible, and two diagonal cracks in the left side of the forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
