Seller Description
New Ithaca Double 12 gauge double barrel hammerless shotgun. Fresh to market and untouched from a New Hampshire estate. Serial number 444xxx, made 1927. Marked "MADE IN USA" and "->SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL<-" on 30" barrels. 13 LOP to rear trigger, 2-1/4" drop at heel of butt. Early gun equipped with cocking indicators and extractors. Metal surfaces are uncleaned with fine original blue finish on barrels with some light specks of rust, other parts are light to medium brown patina. Stocks are fine, showing minor handling marks, has a few minuscule nicks in the forearm edges and a minuscule little chip to the right of the lever. Bores are bright and shiny. Appears to be mechanically functional. We are not gunsmiths and cannot warrant safe to shoot. Have inspected by a professional gunsmith and return for a refund minus postage if found to be unsuitable. Ship to FFL dealer or C&R license holder.
