Seller Description
National Postal Meter US M1 .30 Carbine, serial 4132xxx, manufactured mid to late WWII. This carbine has a rare Marlin barrel. Only about 100,000 or so Marlin barrels were made during the war, most have no date which is the case with this barrel. Major metal parts are National Postal Meter; a few small parts are mixed, all are detailed below and shown in pictures. No import marks.
This USGI carbine is in excellent used condition. Bore is bright, metal shows no pitting, stock looks very nice.
The carbine has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and test fired. Sling, oiler and magazine noted below are included.
