Navy Arms Model 1860 Henry .44 WCF Lever Action Rifle. Heads up, cowboy action shooter! This 1860 Henry rifle was made in the United States by Val Forget Jr. of Navy Arms around 1976. This was several years before Uberti in Italy started making the 1860 Henry around 1979-80. The octagon barrel is 24” in length and is integral to the rear portion of the full-length magazine tube. The front sight German-silver blade is paired with an adjustable ladder-style rear sight. The top flat of the barrel is roll-stamped with HENRY’S PATENT OCT 16, 1860, and MANUFACT’D BY NAVY ARMS CO, RIDGEFIELD, N.J. The left-side barrel flat is stamped: CAL. 44-40. The barrel, magazine tube, hammer, and loading lever have been blued with the solid brass receiver, shell-lifter, and crescent butt-plate. The wood buttstock is hand-rubbed American Black Walnut with an oil finish.
