Mossberg Model - 51-M - Semi-Auto - .22 LR. Rifle - Known as the Flat Back - Two -piece Mannlicher type stock with pistol grip and cheek plate, with sling swivels and leather carry strap. Fifteen round LR stock feed tubular magazine . Wgt . 7 lbs. 20 in. barrel . Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver retaining approx. 90% bluing. Sights include Micrometer click receiver peep, open rear adjustable A2-style sight and hooded front sight with all 4 original apertures and hood. Butt plate in very good condition. Thumb safety. Stock and forend has minimal handling marks. Manufactured from 1939 to 1946. This rifle is complete like the day it left the factory. Mossberg collectors know the parts are worth more than the asking price of this rifle. Rifle was acquired from a private overall condition of this rifle is excellent and definitely collector quality.
