Mossberg .308 Rifle Model 800A

Another fine rifle from Mossberg. The Model 800A (no longer mfg.)in .308 caliber comes as shown with a 4x Redfield scope, Weaver style bases and rings, and a military style leather sling. This was the last of a dying breed of classic factory weapons with particularly attractive checkering and whitetail deer scenes factory embosed in the stock. The pictures give a good representation of the condition on this rifle which is excellent. The barrel is 24". The bore is also spotless. This model has the hinged floorplate to facilitate easy unloading of the cartridges. A great weapon in a great caliber.
