Mauser K98k 8mm made by Steyr in 1943. Serial number 8178 appears on the action, rear sight (2x), barrel band, bolt handle, shroud, safety, cocking piece and bottom metal (2x). Other markings include Waffenamts, "Bo" on barrel and "bnz" on front ring. The barrel is 24 inches long. CONDITION: Bore is bright, but generally roughing. Metal finish is about 70% with predictable thinning. Stock appears to have been refinished. Price firm. Layaway considered. Photo package by request (include email address).
