Mauser K98k, scoped sniper, Jena Zielvier, great bore, sling

Mauser K98k 8mm with what appear to be reproduction mounts. Serial number 9673 appears on the barrel, front ring, bolt handle, safety lever, cocking piece, front and rear barrel bands, bottom metal (twice), front ring base and stock (toe line). Additional markings include Waffenamts, "C" below serial on stock, "gqm 41" on butt, "H" on right side of butt, "C" barrel, front ring and bolt handle, "7?" (think "79") on top of barrel where it joins the front ring, "?041DS" (think "1041DS" on left side of barrel at receiver. Both bases appear to be silver soldered in position and cannot be removed, so the markings on top of the receiver ring is unknown. SCOPE: Scope is numbered "51205" and is missing the external locking pin that extends forward from the turret. Optics are clear and the reticle is the three post configuration. CONDITION: Metal, as refinished, is in about 95% condition. Markings remain in very good condition. No import markings. Wood appears to have been refinished with markings slightly softened. Bore is bright and shiny, with strong and viable rifling. A complete photo package is available by request (include email address). Price is firm and layaway is available.
