General Specs: Marlin, Year 1936, 30-30 caliber, 7lbs 3oz Serial Number: B7945 Here we present an all original Marlin Model 1936 Rifle, manufactured in 1941 just before commercial production was halted due to the demands of WWII. The rare M1936 designation lasted for only the one year before changing to M36 thereafter. This Marlin is the second variation with a coiled hammer spring, non glare Huntsman ramp front sight and the Sure-grip semi-beavertail forearm. With a trigger pull of 4.2lb and weighing 7lb 3oz, it is balanced to move to target quickly. The untouched case hardening on the receiver, trigger guard and lever compliments the barrel bluing and perfect screws. This rifle was produced in the last year of Marlin case colored receivers! Sporting a 24" barrel with a short magazine, the rifle has a purposeful and sporty appearance. A careful life of use makes this "safety Marlin" a very desirable gun to own.
