Marlin M.1893 38-55 Rifle Antique

Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle 38-55 cal Bore VG plus very strong rifling with fine pitting. , Mech Exc, Wood VG plus with 50% original varnish. Has a original 26” Rd barrel with full mag , original sights rocky mountain front sight and original buckhorn rear which has been filed lower. Also has Excellent marlin address and patent date markings, Special Smokeless Steel and 38-55 markings. The receiver has the Marlin Safety marking on top. The serial#161083 mfg 1897. Metal overall has a fading original blue finish with some very fine pitting in areas. The top tang has the Model 1893 markings . Very unabused Marlin
