Fine quality muzzle-loading replica's made by MOWREY gun works. The rifle is a 50 cal. ALLEN & THURBER REPLICA. The 12 ga shotgun looks almost identical. Very nice stocks that I believe is sometimes referred to as "Tiger Wood" because it has vertical lines in the wood. The barrels are special low carbon steel with very high tensile strenght of 85,500 P.S.I. Low carbon steel is used because it will not shoot "slick" and lose it's accuracy. The brass is High Density "INCO" and is cast from pure ingots. Rifle weighs 10 1/2 lbs. which is ideal for off hand shooting.
