Construction is entirely steel, except for the alloy rear sight. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Finish is matte blue. Sight system is welded base, dovetailed brass beaded steel blade front, with factory Williams two piece 700 type, windage and elevation adjustable rear. Bore is six groove right hand 1:36 rifled, specifically for lead slug hunting. It will digest most any kind of shot, since the muzzle diameter is .720 Improved Cylinder; the rifling, however, will adversely affect the shot pattern. This barrel will fit any Mossberg model 930 shotgun chambered in 12 gauge.
