I have an early model MK I CAV-15 for sale [serial SUR 0138]. I purchased this rifle when they first released it and have lovingly cared for it ever since. It has had no more than 4000 rounds through it and minor scratches associated with normal wear. Also included is an illuminated reticle scope, removable scope mount, and two high quality 20 round mags [stamped LE use only] with anti-tilt followers and ranger loops for clipping them to a flak vest. from cavarms website: CAV-15 MKI Receivers are injection molded from glass filled nylon, a polymer material very similar to that used by Glock, HK, Steyr and other firearms companies. Polymer offers unsurpassed corrosion resistance, finish durability. and is significantly lighter than aluminum based receivers. The receivers are molded in two halves and assembled using a vibration welding process. Vibration welding forms the two halves into one solid piece. Every contact surface between the two halves is bonded together with a weld that is even stronger than the parent material.
