MAS Md36 French Rifle in Original Arsenal Wrap

This MAS Md.36 rifle Caliber 7.5 was first adopted in 1936 by France. It saw service during WWII where it was used as a front line weapon. It was also carried by Nazi support troops during their occupation of France in WWII. The MAS 36 also saw use in post war hot spots such as French Indochina, Algerian War and the Suez Crises. The Mas 36 was used by Communist forces against American troops during the Vietnam War from captured French stores. The MAS 36 is known for its accuracy. This MAS36 was purchased by a collector in the early 1990’s put away and never opened. This MAS36 rifle was reworked to arsenal new condition in 1975 according to paper work attached to the rifle. Rifle was then arsenal wrapped by the French in a protective cheese cloth which was sealed with Bees Wax. The serial number and other information important to the French were listed on the outside of the rifle. Rifle comes with a original French MAS36 military manual, original sling and pull through cleaning cord. This is the opportunity to own a military rifle that is in the same condition as it left the arsenal decades ago. The arsenal wrap has only been opened to record the serial number and put on a very small and hard to see import mark.
