MARLIN MOD. 336 CENTENNIAL

MARLIN MOD. 336 CENTENNIAL. Cal. 30-30, #70 74XXX manufactured in 1970 to celebrate Marlin's 100th anniversary. A REAL Marlin made in North Haven, CT, not the junk currently being produced by Remington. Overall condition is excellent, with a couple of very minor surface blems on the metal, has a perfect bore. I removed the thick layer of varnish lovingly applied by Bubba (complete with overdrip on the metal) and applied several coats of tung oil finish which looks great and now shows a VERY nice piece of walnut. Metal is very slightly proud of the upper tang (thanks Bubba), but not very objectional. Comes with a Tasco 3-9X32 scope with very clear optics, duplex crosshair, and very solid feeling 1/4" clicks.
