Marlin Model 100 bolt action single shot old and ugly tack driver

Was my dad's first rifle, purchased new around 1945. Probably has fired thousands of rounds. This is simple, old, and ugly, but is a tack driver. Ideal as first rifle for youth after stepping up from BB gun. Shoots .22 S-L-LR. Mechanicals in good shape. No gouges or cracks in wood, but wood varnish is worn and has a few old paint stains, that could be removed. Metal has no blue left, but has light rust patina all over, except where polished from bolt, no pitting. Bore is in good shape. Rifle is still good for many more rounds.
